Default Crown & Anchor Diamond & Platinum Members

I just got off the telephone with the C & A. I was told by the representative that she believes that the Loyalty Ambassador no longer escort the Platinum and Diamond Members off the ship for early departure, as, "they have too many other duties".

This was one of the nicer benefits of the C & A. Does anyone else have any comments on this?

Hi Toots,
I read a post recently where they were not escorted off by the loyality ambassador, so that seems to be the way it is now, too bad, would of liked to have given that a try

We made platinum with our last cruise, we did get an earlier departure, but no escort.

We cruised NYC to Bermuda in August on Empress of the Seas and had a private waiting are with coffee, juice and danish prior to disembarkation, as well as an escort from the ship. This was all fine, but once off the ship, we waited on the bus for the rest of the passengers to get off the ship and onto the bus for transport back to Phila. It would have been much nicer to have been escorted off the ship just before the bus was ready to leave rather than wait for an hour on a hot bus for everyone else.

It seems like this perk differs from ship to ship. I guess it depends on who is the Loyalty Ambassador. We have had two great ones, some fair, and one relatively poor. By the way, the best one of all was named Matt (do not remember last name). He really makes you feel like a VIP.
