Ultra-Voyager

Any news on the Ultra-Voyager? I haven't heard anything since RCI's announcement last last year that they were proceeding with plans to build it. Just wondering if it is in the construction stages yet and when it will be launched.

the last i read, ultra voyager is to enter service in 2006, it is going to be built in the same ship yard as the voyager series ships. cannot confirm that construction has begun yet.

She will be delivered in May.

Thanks everyone. That's great news. I sure hope she is based in Florida. I loved the Mariner and looking forward to sailing the new ulta-voyager class too.

I found a few web sites listing new ships by searching on google for cruise ships new

and also cruise ships planned.

I think you can also find it on RCL's investors web site. 5/2006 was the date I saw. 160K tons vs 138-142K tons for Voyager
