IMHO if your husband is wearing a suit, a cocktail dress is just right, you could also wear any dressy dress or dressy suit. If husband is wearing a tux you'd wear either evening gown or cocktail dress. Don't worry about it though, you will see a lot of people underdressed and a few really dressed up.

Enjoy,

Margie

I actually wanted to dress up in more of a gown than a cocktail dress but I didn't want to be too showy, something simple, strapless, fited top, and full skirt, you know the princess gown, a few beads, but not fully beaded. I have a fully beaded straight gown buy its so heavy that it's not comfortable and miserable to sit in!

I was on the Navigator in May and the formal nights were very dressy. Gowns with beads were the norm. But even if it wasn't, if that's what you want to wear, go for it. I had so much fun getting all gussied up and my husband looked great in his tux. We have awesome pictures from our trip, especially our snorkeling adventure and we get the most compliments on our formal pics. So get dressed up and have fun!
