WE ARE DUE TO GO ON THE RADINCE ON DEC. 12TH TO THE WESTERN CARIBBEAN.
WE HAVE AN INSIDE CABIN ON THE 8TH FLOOR, DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THE RADIANCE?
ARE THE INSIDE CABINS SMALL?
SHOULD WE UP GRADE?
ANY ADVISE WOULD BE GREAT
I have sailed on the radiance twice- both times with an outside cabin, oceanview. I don't believe that a balcony is necessary unless you are in your cabin often- but it is nice to look outside with a window, which an interior does not. It really depends how often you are there. The rooms are small but perfect for 2 people and plenty of storage. You don't neded that much more room.

Have been on the Radiance several times and have been in an inside and a junior suite. Loved the suite, but the insides are just fine. There is a lot of room in them and they are layed out very well. If you booked the inside, then don't second guess yourself. You will be happy, and with the extra money you can spend more on shore trips and things on the ship. Enjoy.............

We have done insides and balconies. I find that the price for an oceanview window is close to a balcony, so you might as well go for a balcony.
Insides are fine with me. The money I save I can spend it elsewhere.
If you are doing a longer cruise, or have been to some of the ports before and want to stay on the ship, then do a balcony. If you don't like to be on deck at the sail-a-way with a lot of people then do a balcony.
It all depends on your preference.
I like to be midship deck 7, 8 or 9 sandwiched in between rooms so I can go either up or down with no problem by stairs. Stay clean of any kitchen galley, you do not want to be below one of those. Very noisy. I find with the older ships, you really have to check the deck plans before choosing a cabin.
We have friends that only do Junior Suites, but I can't see spending all that money for one, I could go on another cruise with the money I would spend on a suite.
To each his own.
Have a great cruise.
