ADVENTURE - 6 FEBRUARY - SUPER BOWL SUNDAY

HI ALL, Well it's getting closer and it got me thinking. Does anyone happen to know if RCC has SUPER BOWL FESTIVITIES on board? We've been on Celebrity at least 3 times for Super Bowl and we have a blast. Usually it falls on our second day at sea, but we are leaving on a Sunday this time. Hopefully they will and it won't be interupted by the fire drill. Also does AOS have sushi on board, Celebrity has a Sushi bar every evening. We are in a GRAND SUITE, we have been in a JR suite on the voyager . I am also wondering if the concierge lounge really has a honor bar, and what do they offer. Can't wait til February!!!!! Carol.......could you please tell me how the Jr. Suite is.......I am considering upgrading to a grand.......not sure if I am going to or not. But info on the Jr. would be so much appreciated.....I am currently booked on a 7th deck aft.

HI SIS, JR suite is a great cabin for 2persons, my opinion only of coarse. Grand Suite is much more comfortable for 3persons. Concierge service is included with Grand Suite, not in JRS unless you are high status Crown & Anchor. Cabin service is virtually the same in both. This info straight from my TA , she's been in both. She can't tell me about my above questions because she never used the lounge , and does not eat Sushi. So still waiting for any feedback , Thanks Carol

AUGGIEMOM, THIS IS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH CONCIERGE SERVICE. I;VE BEEN ON CELEBRITY IN A SUITE BUT ON CELEBRITY YOU HAVE A BUTLER TO DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU. CONCIERGE SERVICE ON RCCL IS A LOUNGE THAT HAS A N ATTENDANT TO MAKE RESERVATIONS, ECT. ALSO I THINK THEY HAVE SOME BEVERAGES AND SNACKS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. IF I'M WRONG COULD SOMEONE WHO KNOWS PLEASE CLARIFY. THANKS CAROL

Just read something about the AOS having some kind of water park on it , whats this. I don't remember anything like it on the voyager, and i'm told they are almost identical. Does any one feel that the soda card is worth the money, we have never bought it before but am thinking about it this time. Was on Golden Prencess in August and it was only $22.00 . Rccl seems so much more expensive . Thanks Carol

TOYOWOLF, Do you mean like skating party.? I am a roller skater but don't think ice skating is my bag. We usually go every year on Super Bowl week, and they always have a party with food and the game in one of the lounges. Skating would be a first!!!!

Sis -

This past September I sailed on Voyager and had a Junior Suite. It was a girls only cruise - left the men at home. There were 4 of us in the JS and we never felt like we were stepping on each others toes. The bathroom had a full tub and the walk-in closet was big enough to use as a changing room! Any room with a balcony is wonderful. Our cabin attendant, Raul, was FANTASTIC!!!!! He couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend a JS - it will make your cruise extra special. If they offer the same perks at all departure piers then another benefit is that you get to board early from a private SUITES GUEST lounge...plus, we were the second group off the ship.
