Default Royal Caribbean Featured on the Travel Channel tonight

There will be 3 shows in a row on this evening dealing with Royal Caribbean cruise ships. They start at 8pm 9pm and 10 pm EST tonight on the Travel Channel....The first is "Cruise Ship Secrets" .......Then its "Samantha Brown's First Cruise" aboard Senerade of the Seas for a 12 night Mediterranean cruise. Lastly its Radiance of the Seas on an Alaskan cruise. Should be fun to watch for us cruise fanatics....Thanks

The Samantha Brown one is on the Brilliance, not the Serenade.

Just finished watching the show and saw too much of the ports and not enough of the ship. Guess I'll have to wait until April to see for myself!

Just saw it and I agree there was too much port stuff and not enough ship stuff. Still fun to watch though...

well you have to admit Samantha's segment was a heck of a sales job for the 12 day cruise..if someone was so "pumped" they wanted to book the cruise if they went to the RCL website they would have discovered it was sold out for the 2005 sailings

And I suspect RCI is hoping that they'll book an alternative cruise instead. I think the Travel Channel insists on there being so much port-time in these specials... they all seem to be heavily focused on the ports vs. the ships.

Is the Brilliance bigger than the Voyager? Looked like it was, but it's hard to tell on TV. Anyone know? TIA

Samantha was not very inspiring--bad grammar to boot. But we did get some glimpses of Brilliance--it does seem like a lrage ship but is smaller than Voyager Also seems biger than Summit but it's the same

I think it's a Radiance class ship.

The segment after the Med with Samantha was the Radiance in Alaska which showed alot more of the ship --

The Med. sailing next June is not sold out -- my TA offered cabins in every class on at least 2 of the sailings ifor June just last week. If you notice Expedia or other web sites, it says sold out -- or it says on some " call for prices"

Yeah, I agree... too much on the ports. Samantha Brown was also not as good as I thought she would be.

that's why it's showing sold out on the RCL website...cabins are tied up by agencies, brokers etc..it will break open when the final payments are due..hopefully by that time I would have won a "small" sum on the local lottery and can afford to go

Unfortunately, Tribune isn't showing any further repeats of the special over the next 14 days.
