The Rhapsody and Splendour of the Seas depart from Galveston for Western Caribbean cruises.

Actually The only ship is the Rhapsody of the Seas for Now. The Slender of the Seas in now out of Tampa for part of the year and Barcelona for 2005. Celebrity has put in the Galaxy as "replacement" fo rthe Splender of the Seas 11/12 day Panama Canal. Celebrity and Royal Caribbean as sister Companies.

Rhapsody is a beautiful Ship by the way.

I would add that the Rhapsody attracts a really, really great passenger mix and the ship's crew will make your week a truly great experience.

Be aware, the ship is more like a Holiday Inn than a Hilton (in terms of hotels). We enjoyed our cruise thoroughly, but it wasn't as nice as any of the newer ships we've sailed on. The service and food on the other hand were outstanding!

Ok I don''t think the Rhapsody is a Hilton but definatley not a Holiday Inn either. How about ..... actually I would call it a Hilton but not a Four Seasons or a Whyndam or Westin. As I ramble on I would say its not a Newer Hilton but a nice older one!

Ok I lived in Hotels for a long long time. And I love the Rhapsody I am curious haw it will look after the drydocking this past month.

A dry-docking will certainly help that ship. The Splendour, her sister ship, is in much better shape. We cruised Rhapsody Nov. 2003 and Splendour March 2004.
