Reserving pool chairs with towels
This is one of my pet peeves. We came down to the pool around 10 a.m on the VOS and almost every chair had a towel on it and hardly any people in the pool. I moved a towel and sat down and low and behold, about an hour later, this woman taps me on the shoulder and said I had HER chair even though I knew she wasn't around the pool area. I told her that she hadn't paid for the chair and wasn't sitting in it and wasn't in the pool area. I'm going on the Navigator and does anyone know if there are any new pool rules concerning this? I don't know what the answer is!!!!

Re: Reserving pool chairs with towels
There isn't any need for any new rules about this. From what I've read, there are long-standing OLD rules about it. Folks indicate that they're even posted on the pool deck.

One of the best strategies I have read for avoiding confrontation about this is to move the chair to a different location, once you've determined that it isn't being used by anyone on the pool deck.

Re: Reserving pool chairs with towels
I just returned from Princess Diamond and they say if things, towels, a shoe etc. are left on chairs and no one is using it for 30mins they will remove. we had NO problem finding chairs.
I would have moved her towel too!

Re: Reserving pool chairs with towels
I have noticed that since they will charge you for a towel not returned, there are less just left on chairs, so thats a good thing. This is also one of my gripes about cruising.
