A group of us are sailing on the Radiance of the Seas on January 30th and following our trip 2 of our group (seniors) will need transportation to Tampa so they can stay another week with friends. They are flying back to Canada from Tampa. The friends have offered to drive over to Florida but I believe it is about a 3-4 hour one way drive.
Is there any other options? Train? Limo?
Can anyone tell me what transportation companies operate in Florida so I can arrange some transportation one way to Tampa.
I think the bus service I've seen running that route, is: "Cruise Connection". You might try that, or call a travel agent in Tampa or Miami, and ask them for help. I can suggest "Clearwater Cruises", which is a good agency that I've used in the past. They can probably help you, or suggest how you can get the job done. They have an 800 number, but I don't have it, as it's local for me. Number that I do have is: 727-573-2883.
Good luck, and happy sailing,
Let us know what you find-- Unless your travel agent does it for you I think this will be difficult. Maybe a car rental one way would be best. It is a long ride but if you rent a car that's only one way rather than inconvenience your friends.
