Grandeur Sewer Smell

Thinking about going on the Grandeur in Jan. and while researching reviews came across a problem with a strong sewer smell on deck 3. Since we are on a tight budget this will probably be the deck we end up on. I remeber being on an older ship a few years ago that had this problem and it just about ruined the cruise for us. Has anyone been on this ship recently that can comment.

Opps, We sailed the Nov 27 and was on deck 3 with no problems. Didnt smell bad at all.

Sailed on the Grandeur this past April and detected no sewer smell. We had a deck 4 cabin but I did not smell it on any of the other decks either.

We were on the Grandeur Sept. 24th 10 night sailing. We were on Deck 3. We had the sewer smell the whole cruise. I know a lot of people complained about it. BUT the Grandeur was in dry dock in Nov. I believe so it was probably fixed then. Perhaps you could check with RCI about that.

Was just on the Grandeur 12/18/04 to 12/24/04. I didn't notice the sewer smell on the third floor but every time we got to port and exited the ship I noticed the sewer smell when exiting the ship. The cruise director Duane Davis was awful.
