Sailing Jan.7th Sovereign of the Seas...

Hi!! My husband, two friends and I are setting sail Jan. 7th...This will be his first and my 3rd cruise...When we arrive at Nassau we would like to go on an excursion to a beach..any ideas whether to book through RC or try it on our own? On my other two cruises we did the straw market....Thanks for any ideas!!
