i am just writing, to see how the choclate buffet is, and are there truffles, there have to be truffles, and also what are teh events on the ship like, are there dances, like 70's and 80's night etc....

The last RC cruise my husband and I took in October of 2004 there was no chocolate buffet,we were on the AOS and I don't know if it was just this ship that eliminated it or if it's a RC thing

I think it was just a typo of chocolate and I think she is from Ontario Canada by the on.ca at the end of their e-mail domain.
But the question still stands, are they still doing the chocolate buffet? we are on NOS in April.
my wife is dying to know.

Don't worry from a fellow chocoholic you will find plenty of chocolate on board! I always bring M&M's for my room though. They will have a Western theme and a 50's theme nights. Both are a lot of fun. They take place after the shows. There is always places to dance on board and a disco for later. Have fun!

We had a chocolate buffet on the Sovereign in 2003. We went on the Navigator in 2004 and there wasn't one.

thank you for the wonderfull news, iam a big chocoholic, Derek, (my husband) is'nt the biggest, and all i have been talking about is the buffet., my husband presides in canada, he works for the federal court.

yes i need to stop eating all this choclate, i love it ...........but i always here about this buffet, and iam looking forward to it, i will probably eat the whole buffet

Empress of the Seas, Dec. 2004. Chocolate Buffet at midnight. It was the night we left Aruba, it sort of looked beautiful, but the ship was plowing thru some big waves which made everything look fuzzy and a bit nauseating! It was supposed to be outside but it had to be moved in due to the rain that had started and also because of the extreme high winds.

There was a lot of work put in to the event, too bad most people didn't enjoy it.

How'd you like the Sovereign? We're booked for next month.. our first on RCI. I have read about the renovations.. really excited to go.. esp. as it just keeps on snowing here in Cape Cod.
