Men's Attire

I am going on a five day cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas. I would like to know out of the five nights, will just one be formal? I have a dark suit for the formal night and for the casual nights I have slacks / shirts / ties.

Is this the right attire for a five night cruise?

That sounds fine. On casual nights my husband and sons wear slacks and a collared (such as a Polo) shirt.

For some reason I was under the impression that on the formal night suits or tuxes were worn and on the other nights coats/jackets were required. I am glad to hear that I can wear a shirt and tie on the other nights.

Okay, so I was a bit off on the casual nights. On the casual nights do men wear slacks and long-sleeved dress shirts, slacks and short sleeve polos, or nice shorts and polos?

Most of them wear slacks and short sleeved polos. Shorts aren't allowed in the dining room for dinner. Just for lunch and breakfast.

The other thing is my girlfriend will be wearing dresses to dinner and I don't want to look underdressed. Do most women wear dresses every night?

We've seen many women in slacks and a nice blouse on casual nights. My wife wears this outfit a couple times on a 7 night cruise, more often on longer cruises. Jeans are a no-no.

I usually wear a dress or a skirt and top to dinner. My husband wears slacks and a short sleeved collared shirt. Most women will wear either a dress, or slacks and a shirt.
