Default formal nights

On formal nights do you really have to dress up or can you eat somewhere else casual?

You can eat somewhere else. The windjammer is casual and has a nice selection but the formal night is wonderful. We went for our first cruise last year and I do not dress up very often and was not sure how much I would enjoy it but this year I am looking forward to it and so is my 11yr. old. You should try at least one night. Happy cruising.

My husband wears a sport coat, dress shirt, tie and slacks and I wear a dressy pant suit on formal nights and we do eat in the dining room. There are quite a few people dressed this way.
