C&A commemorative gift & events

I am going on my second RCCL cruise in about 2 weeks. Since I am a C&A member i was wondering what people have been getting on recent cruises for the commemorative gift? I heard it has been a toiletries bag or a fanny pack. Can someone tell me which one they have received recently?

I also want to know if I am with my girlfriend who has not been on RCCL before this trip will I be able to take her to the welcome back party? It doesn't make sense to go alone?

Also my friend who is in another cabin was with me on the 1st cruise but never signed up for the C&A. Do you have to sign up or will RCCL have it in their system? Will he get any of the benefits or am I the only one since I was the only person to sign up?

We were just on the Radiance - we are Platinum members (all our other cruises were on Celebrity but are honored since the merge). We rec'd a hanging toiltries bag and a booklet of coupons. I am sure that you will have no problem bringng your girlfriend to the party. Just hand in your invite at the door. As for your friend, I would have him call RCL now and request the C&A. They should have his previous cruise in the system.

As with ilene, we received a hanging toiltries bag and a booklet of coupons (several 2 for 1 drinks) on the Radiance February, 2005. The bag is embroidered with Radiance of the Seas -- this is nice since you can't purchase this at the stores.

Last year on the Explorer of the Seas (Feb 2004) we received the coupon booklet and an embroidered fanny/waist bag. I use the fanny bag all the time. It holds my CD Walkman player when I go walking. Each time I see it, it makes me smile because it reminds me of the Explorer voyage.

I don't think you'll have a problem bringing your friend. They will ask for your invitation at the door to the reception.

It only takes a phone call to the Crown & Anchor Society (800+526-9723) and specific information about the sailing they took.

Four years ago me and my husband (then boyfriend) went to Bermuda. It was his 2nd cruise and my first. He got the invite to the Members party and I went with him. It is for the member and a guest.

Do they give you a gift event if it's a short cruise if you are a C&A member?

lets see fannypack, toiletry hanging back, and two pens with blue neon lights to write in the dark. And ofcourse the coupon booklets.

We got the fanny packs, toiletry pack and on the Adventure we got a tiny radio about the size of a cell phone with an ear plug. It nice. And of coarse the coupon books. There is a coupon for the casino and you get $2.00. I put the $2.00 in a dollar slot machine and got nothing.
