butterfly, If you mean Cocoa Beach, Florida, I grew up in the area and when we visit we usually stay at the Hampton Inn on A1A; free internet and continental breakfast. Also a walkway to the beach. Another place we have stayed is the Comfort Inn also on A1A..

Yes, Thank you that is where I mean. How much would I figure to spend at either of these hotels for 1 night. We need 2 beds in 1 room.
Thanks

Just like any beach resort area, it all depends on the time of year you are there. One time we paid $55/night at Hampton Inn in October then $98 in August. The Comfort Inn was $75 in June. We usually use Travelocity to book hotels. I have never tried Priceline for the Cocoa Beach Area.

We frequent Cocoa beach as well because we prefer it over Daytona. Last time I went over w/ some friends we stayed at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront. It's nice, clean, great activity area if you have kids and better than avgerage pool bar (in that type of chain hotel).
I've also stayed in the Double Tree also on A1A, which was also nice, but a little pricey for an oceanfront room. Then again, it may have been the time of year. It was the middle of March.
If you have time, I highly suggest going to Coconuts on the Beach. It's on Minuteman Causeway, right off of A1A. Great food, you have to get a 'Pain in the A$$' (1/2 rumrunner 1/2 pina colada w/ another shooter of rum down in it) and you are right there on the beach w/a great deck to sit, eat, and people watch.
Good luck with your search!
