On RCCL, I heard that if you have Late seating for dinner that your show time is before you eat. If you have Early seating, you see the show after dinner. Does anybody know for sure if this is correct?
Thanks!
I have seen this only if there is a something special happening for everyone around 10:30 pm. In most cases though, early seating has their shows right after dinner around 8:30 pm and late seating has their shows right after their dinner around 10:30 pm. I think if they had the late seating shows before their dinner permanently MANY would complain. Many choose late seating so they don't have to rush back from excursions and/or so they can take their time getting ready, perhaps getting a nap in before dinner and this would defeat the purpose of choosing late seating. We prefer early seating and usually go to our assigned show. We have been known to see a show twice if it's a magician, hypnotist or comedian.

Both times I've been on RCL the late seated guests had shows before dinner, and early seated guests saw the shows after dinner. My husband and I always went to a show and then to dinner.
Hi, That was the way the seating and show times were on the Rhapsody. It worked out great for us as we had the late seating.
I have been on the Rhapsody in Feb of 2002 and 2004 .Had a wonderful time.
Family is going on the exployer out of Miami 11/27/05. Myself, daughters and
son in laws and one of my son in llaws mother so it is great . I really like her
and we all get along real well.
Is anyone else going on the ship that day.?
Well, I wasn't "just" on the Navigator but I was on her in May. We had the late seating for dinner and the only show that we were able to see before dinner was the Ice Show. Other than that, the shows were all schedule for after dinner. We are doing the earlier seating this time because we were too tired after dinner. We didn't usually get out of the dining room until close to 11 PM and after a long day on shore, we were pooped Hope this helps.

My mom and I were on Empress of the Seas 3/14/05 through 3/25/05. We had a wonderful time. There were times when they had shows prior to dinner, so there were a few we missed due to exhaustion. We needed to rest prior to dinner, which is why we choose the late seating. Although we experience a minor hiccup, missing two of our schedule stops( Curacao & Aruba), and their choice of Casa De Campo, Dominican Republic as a substitute was a poor choice, the rest of the itinerary was fun.
