Default Walk to Margaritaville from ship?

I have seen lots of pics on line of Margaritaville in Ocho Rios. How close is it from the dock for the Mariner? How is the beach at Margaritaville? Thanks

It's in the Island Village which is a short walk form the pier. It's awesome, there's cool shops, bars, etc. You have to check it out!

Plus Ocho Rios is the prettiest port on the western Caribbean!!

WE also went to Margaritaville on our last cruise. It was a blast. I think more young people go there, but it was fun to see where all the spring break people party. We have a few pics on webshots. Go under VOS. Should find them there. We got a coupon when we arrived there for a free shot. I think you had to do something crazy to get the shot for free. They have a pool, beach, lots of tables to sit at, food, a shop, and tons of drinks. Have fun, if you get drunk the pier is not to far, just might look a little blurry. Ha ha.

We were in Ocho Rios last April. Try to get to the Island Village early it is beautiful to walk around with out all the crowd. Later in the evening, you can't get near Margaritaville for all the crowds, let along get into the gift shop, it isn't very spacious. I can't wait to go back!!
