Default Room selection

Help! We can take a 7 day cruise out of Galveston on Rhapsody of the Sea for $504 plus tax. This is an inside room on Deck 2. Does anyone know what the negative is of being on the lowest deck other than you have further to walk? Do you feel the motion of the boat more? I went on Carnival in November and had a ocean view on Deck 6. We were barely in our room, so trying to save a few books on the view.

You will feel less motion down low. You may hear a gentle hum of the engines. I happen to like white noise when I am trying to sleep. The biggest disadvantage is waiting for elevators. If you walk everywhere, then this won't be a problem.

My dau and I went on the Rhapsody twice and the first one we had a JS as this was our first Cruise and it sounded so good and it was wonderful but to save a few bucks
we went with an inside cabin and we were on deck 4 right off the centrum and it
was great. We had 3 mothers, 1 father, 4 adult children and 1 grand dau. with a friend.
We had a wonderful time and loved the inside room there.

Love inside rooms because they are dark and I can sleep in. I also prefer lower decks so you feel less motion. For that money, grab it.
