We usually go out to the dock by 10 or 11 knowing we will be able to board by noon or so.

We were on Majesty last month. We got priority boarding since we are Diamond level, and were on board by 11:15. Other passengers followed about 15 minutes later. However, we weren't allowed to go to our cabin until 1:00 P. M. They kept the fire doors at the end of the hall closed. We just had a porter take our carry on stuff to our cabin, and we went off to the Windjammer. By the way, when you go to the Windjammer, use the one at the stern. It's much nicer than the "other" one. Have a great trip.

There are two Windjammer venues. One is just inside the pool deck (deck 11). Go through that venue through some sliding doors, and you will be in the aft (stern) area of the Windjammer. Nice views over the stern of the ship.

Last time we were on a cruise I asked one of the employees about the earliest they allow people to board and I was told 11:00am. I know for our next cruise we plan on being at the terminal by 10:30 so we can board early.

It all depends on how quick they can get the people off, and from reading some earlier posts if there are any govt holdups (searches, etc). Do keep in mind though that the rooms will probably not be ready right aways and you will have to carry your carry on luggage around with you until your room is ready. I guess you could give it to porter, but in my case, its usually all my valuables (cameras, wallet, kid supplies, etc) and Im not about to hand it off to someone else! If you pack a bathing suit in your carry on, you can use one of the restrooms to change and use the pools until your room is ready. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub with a foo foo drink waiting for your ship to sail!

Another thing-if thinking about dining in a specialty restaurant, using the spa services, or booking excursions, do them early on as they fill up fast. You can use the tv in your room to book, but if the rooms not ready or you have a question, youre better off rsvping in person.
