If anyone has any questions or would like copies of The Compass, or wants to know what was on the menus ect. please feel free to ask. I'll be posting my review tomorrow (May 8), with a link to my website with pictures and all those goodies!! :o)

I'm planning on taking the Sovereign early 2006. How was the ship and the food? Was it worth the money? What cabin did you stay in and how was it?

The ship was well worth the money. She was in very good shape, and you couldn’t tell it was an older ship. She is smaller than the newer ships, but the way I looked at it, it's still a cruise! (An interesting fact we learned on the cruise ... Titanic was the same size as the Sovereign.)
The food on the ship was excellent. You can order as much as you want when you're in the dinning rooms. If you want 2 of everything, you can have it. Breakfast in the Windjammer wasn’t very good. I found only the waffles, fruit and cereal to be tasty there. If you want a good breakfast eat in the dining room. Lunch was pretty good. A wide variety to choose from at the buffet. Make sure you go to both sides of the Windjammer, they are totally different.

We stayed in cabin #6067, an inside cabin. I thought the cabin was alright in size. Lets face it, you wont be spending much time in there anyway. They have a good sized closet, with plenty of hangers for shirts and pants. They are lacking in drawer space however, only 4. The bathroom was big enough as well. I gotta tell ya, my husband and I had the best nights sleep we've ever had while on the ship.

If you want to know more, check out my website( www.freewebs.com/arcymey ), it has a review, photos and copies of the Compass.
Enjoy!

For some reason, I wasn't able to read the print on the Compass when trying to see it under Cruise Photos. If I clicked on Compass, it said I wasn't logged in.

Did I miss something here??

Mr. October,

"The peasants, they have no bread". Marie Antoinette- "Well then, let them eat cake".

"The people, they have no Bud Light" Dave the Wave- "Well then, let them drink Miller Lite"

Beer is beer, be happy. Don't discourage the cruisers from a great ship and trip.

Arcy, great review and pictures. I couldn't open the Compass either. It said I had to log in. I will be on Cococay in 14 days. My 5th time on this ship and never had a bad time. Thanks for your pictures!

Sorry about the link to The Compass not working properly. It's all fixed now. When you want to view the compass, you can get it to enlarge to the full screen, and you should be able to see it clearly.

Yes, in fact if you search under Dave the Wave you can see my last galleries and reviews of the Sovereign, Enchantment and Sensation. I have a better camera this time though.

Thanks, CO. Won't be long now. I have been training for the belly flop competition. I don't have the size so I am working on my form.

Maybe I can give you some of my size Dave for the belly flop. I have to hurry up and start sweating some of this weight off so I can look a little trimmer for the cruise. With the heat and humidity in the south today it wont take long.

I was also on the May 2nd Sovereign Cruise. 3rd time on this ship and my 18th cruise. Everything was great with one minor complaint about my waiter which was resovled immediatly. At 145 #s I was able to take the Bronze in the bellyflop contest. Its not the size but how you land

This is me in the Enchantment belly flop. They had a box about 3 feet high to launch off of. The last time on the Sovereign we had to jump from the side of the pool standing in 3 inches of water. Was it the same?

Say James . . . You wanna take my husband and I along too? :o)
Is this another 4 nighter, or did you opt for the 3 night this time?

I can't wait to get on a cruise again! We're planning one for next year, but I'm not sure I can last THAT long.

Angela
