We did the 5 day cruise to Bermuda on 5/15. Although the weather wasn't the best we had a great time. The Voyager is a remarkable ship and there was always something to do. Food was good - entertainment was OK. The ship docking at Kings Wharf was a bit inconvenient but the ferry service to Hamilton & St.. George was fast and clean.

Sailing from Bayonne is definately easier than NYC.

Any specific questions, just ask.

Hi Mary,
Glad you had a good time in Bermuda. Maybe you could answer some questions for me. Was the ferry ride to Hamilton long ? How was the shopping there? I won't be able to go to St. George only Kings Warf & Hamilton. Any other information would be appreciated. Weare going in Oct.

The ferry from Kings Wharf to Hamilton takes 20 minutes if you take the express ferry (actually most of them are express). Very fast, clean and efficient although they generally only run once an hour. There is a lot of construction going on at Front Street but it is still several longs blocks of both nice shops and the usual souvenier shops. You can buy the ferry passes on the ship or right at the terminal off the ship. The ride is $4 - one way but if you plan on riding the ferry or the bus more than once a day but an all day pass $10 for unlimited daily riding. We only went into Hamilton once so it was not worth it for us.

There is very limited shopping at Kings Wharf but they do have a street fair on Tuesday night at the Clocktower Mall. We did not go over there but could hear the music from the ship.

Enjoy Bermuda - it is one of our all time favorite ports. The people are wonderful.

Anything else I can help you with?

MaryL.
