Default Breezes resort in Nassau

Has anyone done the day pass that RC offers while in port? It sounds like there would be a lot to do and could be fun. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids (17 & 8) and just want to keep everyone happy.

We will be doing Breezes in Nassau - but on our own. You can just take the #10 bus at the straw market out to the Cable Beach resorts (tell the drive Breezes) - it cost $1 per person. At the Breezes desk you pay $60 each for unlimited food, drinks, pool, etc. for the day. However, children under 18 are not allowed - sorry. You can also do the same thing at the Windom (spelling?) hotel at Cable Beach - however it does not include unlimited food/drinks - but it is cheaper, not sure how much though.

Also I would recommend checking out the cruisecritic message board on Bahamas - it's got lots of posting about Nassau:

wepersonally did not like it.service was terrible since all inclusive and the pool and beach chairs were in really bad shape they were sagging big time and hurt your back.beach was great but cluttered with bungee and other money takers, people trying to see you goods on the beach we stayed an hour and then took the loss and went back to the ship.just our opinion.
