eating on Royal Caribbean

Do you have to have a special time to eat breakfast,lunch & dinner?Or is it like the Norwegian cruise line and the Princess cruise line,anytime dinning?(I think that is what it is called)I would prefer to eat my meals when I want too.Thankyou

Breakfast and Lunch are open seating.

Dinner in the main dining room is at the same time everynight. But you can always go to the buffet anytime during the day.

You will either have main seating or late seating for dinner in the dining room. You can do the buffet for breakfast and lunch and even go to the dining room if you wish.

Food also was surprisingly good to excellent recently on Brilliance--esp in Chops, Protofino & the upstairs buffet...

Breakfast and lunch are open seating in Windjammer and the dining room. Check the daily compass for the times that they will be serving. Generally, WIndjammer opens earlier and closes later than the dining room. Theres also room service available 24 hrs (I believe), but it might take awhile to get your food. For dinner, you can eat whenever at Windjammer. In the dining room you will either have early or late seating at assigned tables. For the specialty restaurants you need rsvps. If you plan on doing this rsvp asap (upon boarding) as they fill up fast. They are very good and the service is much better than in the main dining room since its smaller. It will cost an extra $20 per person. Theres also Johnny Rockets and small places to grab a sandwich on some ships as well. Johnny Rockets does charge a small fee.
