Is it true you have to make reservations for your kids to rock climb or ice skate.Are we going to stand in line for everything?

We sailed on Navigator last year and a sistership Mariner this year with teenage boys.
For the skating, at the beginning of the week the parent(s) need to fill out a form for the youth skaters(liability) and sign it. It's good for the week. The rock climbing has specific sign up times for each daily session, and consent(liability) forms also.
The aggrevation factor is small. The wait time is minimal.
