Promenade Staterooms

Anyone stay in these before?? What did you think?? Is it noisy??

We were on the Voyager of the seas last month.We were in room 8611 a promanade room,this was our second time in a promanade room.You will have no problem.You hear very little if any noise.We sat in the window and watched the parades.I enjoyed sitting in the window and watched the people walking around.
One warning for these rooms make sure you close the curtains when you come out of the shower.The first time I did I came out and looked across as a man was coming out of the shower the same time as i[male]did.lol.
I hope you enjoy the room and the cruise.

We stayed in a promende stateroom and we really liked it. No noise, good alternative to an interior room.

I have booked a promanade room on my next cruise next week. I am very excited about it because I love to people watch and be part of the action.

I've been in the promenade rooms on deck six and our cabins were directly above the bar. On nights when there is live music in the bar you hear it and it's loud, along with the accompanying vibration. But that depends on who and what that entertainment is. It's over with by 10:00 PM so it's not a big deal. Parades are loud on that deck also, but again - not an issue. Normal everyday sounds from below are not noticeable. Overall we liked the room and would book one again - it's different and fun.

We enjoyed our prommenade cabin on Voyager. Very much!
