Can anyone tell me...is the rink open certain hours during all days for passengers to skate? Or maybe just sea days? Also, do you have to wear long pants...or would capris be OK? Is it cold enough for a sweathshirt? Thanks!
On the Mariner, the ice rink was open certain hours which were posted in the daily paper and yes, long pants were required. Don't forget fresh socks too. While I never skated, I did attend the ice skating show and other activities there and did not think it was cold enough for a sweatshirt. It is not as big as a rink at home and I would think with skating around you would get warm.

On Adventure the Ice Rick was open certain days and times. However, something worth noting (I'm sure it's the same on Voyager) is that the rink will be open to those individuals who bring their own skates. My son is a hockey player and he and his mother brought their skates (both times). There are very few people who bring their own skates so there were maybe 8 people total on the ice during their skatem which is nice since the rink is small. Otherwise it is open in 45 minute blocks and very crowded (just like a regular ince rink during open skate). Hope that helps.
