Fun ship?

Been on Carnival and would like to know which is the better "fun ship?"
How does RC match up with CCL?

I have sailed carnival, Holland America ,Princess and Rccl as for fun ship the only ship that I have sailed thus far on RCCL is the sovereign of the seas and to me This is a better ship than carnival it is a funnnn ship I liked it so much I booke it first time May 2,2005 , rebooked it again June 6, 2005 and have her booked again sept 19,2005 3 times in 5 months, I have been on the Fantasy,Sensation and Carvnival Victory and the Sovereign is a Much better ship to me, The cabins are smaller but the ship is fun and to stop at coco cay RCCL own Island this is a great port too so much to do have a great cruise James

I agree! To me there was more to do on the RCCL than on Carnival. We stayed up till 3 or 4 in the morning and were back up at 8 for breakfast on RCCL. We never stopped so it seemed.
Then last year we went on Carnival and honestly I felt like we hardley did anything but sleep. There were very few shows, and most everything ended at 12am.
It just wasn't as much fun in my opinion.

to me Carnival and Rccl are the same! We love them both!

My husband and I are in our early 30s and we have to disagree about rccl being a fun ship. We were bored on the ship during sea days. There isn't enough activities going on. We cruised on Norwegian Sun last time and had a much better time. We're going to try Princess this September and hope there is more to do.
