Just wondering - I'm trying to get an idea on pricing of wines onboard ships: Would anyone know how much the cost is, and what size bottle you can get onboard for Martini & Rossi's Asti Spumante Champagne?
While on the Voyager, my husband ordered a bottle of champagne, can't remember the name. But it was a $135.00 bottle and they said, they were out of it. So, they gave him a
different bottle. We thought it would compt. to what we had ordered. Found out it was $237.00 bottle of champagne. We informed the head waiter of this and instead of taking it off our bill. We agreeded on getting two bottles of wine to make the difference up. Needless to say, I'm sure the waiter was reprimanded for this. Because we were never informed of the price difference, as we should have been.
Beware of Royal Caribbean Wine and Dine package. You have 3 choices, Gold, Platimun and Diamond. We took the Diamond for 5 bottles at 137.00 plus 15% gratuity. There are no individual prices in the Wine and Dine brochure. So if you divide 137.00 by 5 bottles that give you 27.40 per bottle. Some wine is at 24.00 and 26.00 per bottle so you must know the prices. Better to just buy a bottle at a time. Enjoy!
I'm considering the Wine and Dine package. They don't give any particulars online, you must sign up onboard. Just trying to weigh prices per glass vs. package. Any suggestions?
