Cocoa Beach-Port Canaveral ??

Does anyone know how the taxicab situation is at Cocoa or Cocoa beach? Just wondering if it would be difficult to get a cab from a hotel to get to Port Canaveral. Someone told me once that there aren't many cabs in that area. Is this true????? The hotel does not have a shuttle to the port.

I grew up there, visit often and there are plenty. Call your hotel and they should know the current situation. If it's close to the port, you might want to use Art's Shuttle. Last time it was only $3/person.

I second using Art's shuttle. I believe their web site is <http://www.artsshuttle.com>

I think we will stay at the Days Inn Expo. It is in Cocoa. They said it is 12 miles from the Port. Does Arts shuttle pick up at hotels such as the one I am staying? How can I get ahold of Arts shuttle to find out if they will pick up at my hotel and what the cost would be for 4 people to get to the Port? Do you have their phone number? Feel free to e-mail me. Thank you very much for the info.

That's what I thought about editting, but the edit link was not there on my first post. Now today it is on my first post in this thread, but not on the next two. Oh well at least I got the correct web site up for butterfly and here are the numbers she requested:

ART'S Shuttle 321.783-2112 or 1.800.567.5099

The edit feature is like a ghost, sometimes you see it sometimes you don't, right now I don't have it and I'm registered and signed on.

I find the edit option only on my personal posts. If I'm just reading OP comments, there is nothing for me to edit so it's not there.

Sometimes it is on my personal ones and sometimes it isn't.
