I'll be on Saturday's Radiance too. My 4th cruise to Alaska. Be sure to see the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. , White Pass Railroad in Skagway, Walk Creek Street and see the fish ladders in Ketchikan. The Radiance is a great ship. Be sure to try the Brownies up at the Skyview Restaurant. Note: be ready for some rain in Juneau. It's rained the last three times I was there and rain is predicted again.

We just returned 6 weeks ago from Alaska off Radiance. She is a beautiful ship!! Our weather was great...felt like the Caribbean on some days. People were actually laying out in the sun. In Skagway, my mother and son did the White Pass Railway ( I did it 2 years ago and did not want to do it again) but if you have not taken this ride, it is very interesting. Make sure you sit on the left side of the train so that you see the sights and hear the naration at the same time. In Juneau we did a private charter for whale watching that we booked off the ship. Less expensive this way and just as good. Our charter was with L&B charters and we booked it right on the dock. It was really great!! In Ketchikan we went to the Lumberjack show which is really good also. The shopping in each port is about the same. We bought the shopping "Passport" coupon book that they really push on the ship but unless you plan on buying some major jewelry, I wouldn't bother. You get a free shopping bag from Del Sol that is nice and a cute charm bracelet from Diamonds International that is neat, and some misc. charms from other stores and a lot of loose stones, that I have no idea where they are now. Like I said, its up to you whether you think it is worth it. Hope this helps and have a great time.
