Default 1st cruise booked

I have booked my (our) 1st cruise today. My wife and I sail Oct.23 on the RCI - Explorer of the Seas.

Anyone here ever sail the Expl.?
Anyone here scheduled for this time?

Q. What is the "hump" portion of the ship?

I am booked in a Cat. E2 , mid ship balcony room. Sounds and seems good any of you have comments regarding the situation of this .

We have been on Explorer twice. It's a great ship.

The "hump" is approximately midships, and is a slight bulge in the exterior of the ship. A diagram of the ship (look at RCI's website) will illustrate what I'm talking about. We always try to book one of the "hump" cabins when we sail on Royal Caribbean.
