Default Freedom of the Seas Features

Did you see the new Freedom Features? (Yes, especially you Donna). All features revealed today in a press conference. Check out freedomoftheseas.com to see the new "Wave Rider" on the pool deck. I am way too excited now and cannot wait!!!!

Also, there is a new Pizzeria called Sorrentos on the Royal Promedade at no extra charge, and a full size Ben & Jerrys Ice Cream Parlor.

The wave rider was a complete letdown... Seriously, they wasted so much deck space by adding that, and only one person can use it at a time. I bet this wont appeal to close to 1/3 of the passengers! If I happened to be onboard I would use it, maybe (didnt even bother rock climbing on Voyager).

Why couldent they have made it some sort of man made beach with real sand and hammocks?

I was at Liberty Cape today for the unveiling of the "FLOWRIDER" . Just amazing how it works! They had the real thing right there. I won't be able to 'ride' it but sure did enjoyed/will enjoy watching those that do. The crowd at the port this morning seemed very much in awe of it. It does not take up all that much space - will be on the back of the ship - levels 13 down to 12. With the bar right there, I am sure many will sit and enjoy a cold drink and watch those who can enjoy the FLOWRIDER. Doubt anyone will be booking just because of the FLOWRIDE, but I think it will attract. What is there not to like? I say, once again to RCL, WTG.

Wow!! I just got an email from RCI with it's computer generated animation of the "Flowrider"! It looks awesome. It is located in the back of the ship with bleachers for those who just want to watch. You can "surf" on a wake board or go boogie boarding. Cool dude!
