Default bringing alcohol onboard

We are going on the Adventure this month and want to bring alcohol on board with us. Will this be allowed? Can we purchase alcohol in the ports and bring it on board to consume while cruising? We've done this before and want to know if we can continue. Thanks.

Wondering the same thing. We will be sailing on the Adventure (barring any weather problems) on September 25.

normally you can't bring it on board. if everyone brought their own liquor with them, they wouldn't sell any on the ship. if you buy it at any of you ports of call, they usually hold it till the last day.

I've never had a problem bringing alcohol onboard when we originbally board the ship. Simply place it in your carry-on and walk onto the ship. I think the folks working the scanners when you originally board the ship are TSA employees and they are more interested in looking for weapons and really do not care about booze.

I have seen people having problems reboarding the ship with alcohol after a shore excursion. Those scanners are cruiseline employees and seem to be more aware of booze and cruiseline profits.
