I am going on the Rhapsody of the Seas on a 5 day cruise out of Galveston on 12/18. I am staying in a Jr. Suite. This will be my 8th cruise, but have never stayed in a Jr. Suite. I am in cabin 8588 which is at the very rear and on the far outside. The drawing looks like the balcony faces the rear and wraps around so you might be facing partially to the right also. I chose this one as opposed to the one next to it as it appeared to only face rear and the balcony looked slightly smaller. It may be just the picture. Does anyone know. Also, the Jr. Suite has a tub, so I assume there is a shower with the tub and not a separate shower. Are the closests any larger than the normal ones in a regular room with a balcony. thanks for any help given.
If you go to webshots.com and look up "Rhapsody of the seas aft balconies" it will bring up pictures cabin # 7652 which is right below your cabin. This will show that it is indeed a wrap around balcony and is quite large. Enjoy. We book a corner aft balcony of Freedom of the seas in hopes that these balconies will be as large as the other ships.
Also, if you go to webshots, and just type in Rhapsody of the Seas, you can scroll till you find pitures of the aft of the ship. This will show you that those 2 deck are pretty much the same, and your deck has the same wrap around balcony. You should have a fantastic time.
