Possible yes, allowed no. The "rule" is - Wine, soda and water....yes - beer no.
When we were on Brilliance OTS last year, a couple in front of us at security had a large cooler with them. They put it through the X-ray machine, and when they took it off the belt, it fell to the floor. About a zillion cans of beer scattered all over the place. The security people helped them pick everything up, and off they went to their cabin, dragging their cooler behind them.
Unfortunately that was last year. As of August this year, (I think) even liquor bought in the ships stores can't be brought to the cabin until the last night. They had large posters in many area of the Radiance stating this NEW policy. My suggestion would be replace some pepsi with favorite beer in the 12 or 24 box package and tape it up. Like I said, possible but not allowed!!

Sherm 33, I just arrive from a cruise on the Enchantment of the seas, oct.2 to oct.9 and I put in my luggage a bottle of spirit, it was still in my luggage when i reach my cabin. If you don't exagerate, it OK.
I like the soda box idea.. I save up the large plastic mouthwash bottles;the ones from costco.. I fill them up with my liquors, they may look at you weird for bringing so many bottles of mouthwash but who cares... 8)
