teen center question

Next summer we will be on the Mariner. My son would have turned 18 a few months back. Does the teen center make any exceptions to allow an 18 year old in? He makes friends easily but I'm not sure how he can find other 18 year olds to hang out with who aren't into the heavy duty drinking scene who just want to have a good time.

99.9% of the time your kid is going to get denied. It's more of a safety issue for the younger teens. The age brackets are 12-14 and 15-17...now many times you could have some very very young 15 year old girls whose parents do not want 18 year old boys hanging around the teen center. Not that your teen is not responcible or what not, it's a teen center promising other family's that it's for kids under the age of 18. Also the drinking thing comes into play. You can say he won't drink, and maybe he won't, but being 18 he could fall into the pressure of buying for underage kids. The only way one might allow him into the teen center is if you ask the guest relations manager to change his age in the manefest to 17. That way his card will always be marked. Hope that helps...but there are alot of activites for young adults especially on the bigger ships.
