Default Thoughts about the Grandeur

Need some thoughts and opinions from cruisers who have been on the Grandeur recently. My son and his college friends are thinking of doing this ship out of Tampa for their spring break in 2006. Thanks.

Sounds like a greta choice, Cheryl. Better than the Carnival alternative. I haven't been on Grandeur but sister Enchantment twice after this week. Great ship!

I always hear good things about Grandeur. In fact we had a girl in chat last nite that works for the youth staff on RCCL and that was one of her favorite ships to work on, don't think you can go wrong.

Thanks Dave and Donna. I have passed this info on to my son and his friends.

Dave----I sent you an e-mail with the same question but no need to answer it now. I think of you as the "King of RCCL". Have a great time on your cruise and be careful.

Default Grandeur

I did two back-to-back cruises on the Grandeur 2 years ago and just loved it. I went with a friend who's daughter worked with the youth program on the ship. I found the ship to be very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Grandeur of the Seas to anyone.

Hi,

I'll be sailing on the Granduer in 21 days, so I was happy to read such great feedback! I am sailing in a cat.h oceanview, booked back at the end of September when it was first annouced that she'll be coming to my home port. I also cancelled SOS for her, just wish Granduer had a Johnny Rockets, oh well.

We recently sailed on the Grandeur Repo from Baltimore to Tampa. This was our second time on Grandeur. She ship is in good shape. Entertainment was good. Cruise director (Jill) was not my favorite, but I've had worse. I wouldn't hesitate to sail on her again!

I sailed on the Grandeur in June on a nine night out of Baltimore and enjoyed it. I have also been on the Carribean Princess and enjoyed the "ship and food" more than the Grandeur. But with that said, I am now booking the Grandeur out of Tampa on April 8 for a quick and somewhat decent priced Spring Break getaway...ANY CRUISE IS BETTER THAN NO CRUISE IN MY OPINION!
