Default Caribbean Excursions

Which is better taking cash, travel checks or check cards when purchasing items on shore excursions. Will be going to Mexico, Jamaica and Cayman Islands.

Credit cards are easy. It's a good idea to notify your credit card company that you will be traveling. I prefer credit card so I don't have to carry much cash with me on shore.

If you want to buy anything from the locals, you will need to bring cash. We take smaller bills for these types of purchases. You will also want some smaller bills for tips after the excursions.

Have a great cruise!

unless you're going to be making major purchases like jewelry, cash is best. the locals like to bargain but not with credit cards or checks. you get the best deals if you have smaller bills and definately have some on hand for tips, everyone who helps out with excursions likes to be tipped, i wasn't aware of that on my first cruise.

Definetely Cash and remember small bills for tipping, that way you do not have to worry about getting double billed for anything on your CC.
