Default jewel of the seas noise issue?

Can anyone help me please? We have reservations on the jewel in cabins 9513 and 9512 for this summer, which all bolcony rooms are sold out. I read this morning on cruiseclues.com threads that a couple had cabin#9514 a few months ago on the jewel and complained of constant noises every 3-10 minutes coming from the hallway which sounded like plumbing and severe dragging of a door sound. When I booked my two cabins in the front of the jewel I was concerned because our rooms are next door and across to a empty blank square on the deck plan diagram for deck #9. I called RCCL and asked about that blank spot, which my concern was that it could be a ice machine and that I did not want to be next to that noisey mess, they at RCCL stated to me that is was just a closet. My concern is that we are two decks down from the spa area of the ship and this may be a very bad spot to be located? Our problem again is that there is no more bolcony cabins available and if this is indeed a noisey area of the ship I would rather cancel than possibly be given the cruiseline..."no problem mon" routine that some of us experienced fequent floaters have been subjected to the past! I love this site and now it's my turn in need! Please if anyone who has slept in a cabin near or around the right/starbourd side of the jewel around cabins 9512 thru 9516 please let me know...thankyou Teddy tedyrama@comcast.net

Default Jewel of the Seas

Just off Jewel 12/17, no noise whatsoever from the hallways or from the deck. The rooms are very soundproof (we were in 9216).

We were on the Jewel Dec 11-18 in a 10th floor room. We frequently heard noises - sounded like a cart being rolled around overhead. We assumed something in the pool area. Was not loud enough to keep us awake -- slept like babies!

Just back from the Jewel on the 12-11-05 sailing. We were in cabins 9204 and 9202. Perfect - no noise what so ever.
Also, just steps away from the centrium!
