What are some good drinks to order?

Your tastes seem to run to drier beverages. I tend to drink waht you do except when I get to the Carribbean where it seems I must have the sweetest tropical dirnks.

Many of the suggestions offered to you are very sweet. You may not like them. Some are also very heavy & you can only have 1-2 because they are like drinking dessert.

I love mojitos if they are made with fresh spearmint. The drink is simple sugar, white rum, lime, club soda & spearmint. It's very refreshing. You may also try a Blue Hawaiian - the color alone is great.

My advice would be to read drink menus when you go out or read a bartending web site. Look at he ingredients to see if you might like something. On the ship go to a martini bar & if it's not busy, ask the bartender.

If you are out anywhere with good friends or family, try asking somebody for a sip.

I do agree with Trish...mojitos (pronounced 'mo-hee-toe) are the best!!(yum-o!!)...If the bartender has fresh lime, not the syrup..
I make these at home all the time( and at every Jimmy Buffett concert) They are truely one of the best cocktails!!

If you like pina coladas, the ones on a cruise are the best! I now won't think of ordering one anywhere else. To me they are a treat - very filling so I usually just have one, maybe another later in the day. I will be having one on Feb 26th, as we cruise away from Port Canaveral.......

My DW loves a good strawberry Daiquiri, but only if made with real strawberries (fresh or frozen) and not that awful mix used in many bars. Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean serves the real thing?

I'll third Mojitos but as an added twist, ask the bartender for no sugar and throw a couple of equals or splenda in it. *Almost* as good as it's sugary cousin with minimal calories!

Try a White Russian!

I'd never tried a drink with Kahlua because I was told it tasted like coffee, and I don't like coffee . On our last cruise they were giving out "samples" (in teeny, tiny cups) of liquor in the gift shop and I tried a White Russian. Yummmmm!

It tasted just like a milkshake (with a kick). Just be careful !

If you like Kahlua, buy it on the ship. When I got home and went to the liquor store the price was double what it was on the ship!
