Default Mariner of the Seas Updates

Hey there!

I haven't been here for awhile so forgive me in advance if this is a duplication!

I sailed the mariner (eastern) last may and just loved it. getting ready to book it again, but want to know anyone's opinion on the western cruise? anything new on the ship or updated? the pool area needed some renovation already, has it all been repaired?

Also, Does anyone have any photos of the ports? I have lots of photos of the eastern, but looking for western shots.

Thanks in advance!!

D

I can answer some of your questions about the ship when I return from my 2-5-6 cruise on Mariner. We are doing Eastern. Only 9 more days!

Default Mariner

I was on Mariner last year and it was beautiful. We did a Western. We are booked on her again in April, for a Western. Last year we left the kids behind with Grandma & Grandpa. This year the kids and Grandparents are coming along. I love Eastern for the beauty. I love Western for the experiances we have on our port excursions. Labadee is basically a beach day for us. Our kids 14, and 12 will use the waterpark a bit. In Ocho Rios we will climb Dunns River Falls, Then spend the rest of the day eating, drinking, and relaxing at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville Restaurant/Beach. In Grand Cayman we will use a tour company to go to StingRay City, Coral Gardens, and Barrier Reef, to snorkel. If time allows we will go to 7 mile beach for an hour. Cozumel was messed up by the hurricane, as you probably know. Our original plan was a dolphin swim at Chankanaab. But, due to the distruction I think we will rent a car, drive to Dzul Ha?, and maybe another place to snorkel, before planting ourself at Paradise Beach, until we need to return to the ship. We also plan on using Portifinos one night for dinner. Grandma & Grandpa will be celebrating 50 years of marriage. Don't forget to go to the Ice Show. Its really GREAT!

Atlcruiser:
I'm from a small town called Kilbuck Township (North Boroughs). You probably never heard of it. We are very excited about the Steelers.....will have to watch the game onboard Mariner.
Take care.
