sil just home from kosvo with the national guard and they are leaving in 2 weeks for the voyager and i wanted to try to get something special on the cruise for them. I email RCCL and ask about the upgrade fairy but they said we have to talk to the people on the ship for anything else. We arent going with them and i know he would never ask for anything for himself. Has anyone ever done something like this or gotten any help or is anyone on this ship that could tell them for me. Thanks. I do know about sending gifts ect but i was hoping RCCL would do something.
This one is simple - make sure you have the reservation #
Ask to speak with a supervisor - they'll bust you about talking to one without - tell them it is private and personal and you woukld like to speak with a supervisor - be firm but polite and offer that they can stay on the line and listen if they want, but you need a supervisor.
Tell the supvsr the story - recent return from overseas military service. Etc.
I presume you are not offering to pay the difference so you want RCCL to do it for free - now, if you wanted to get with your other family and offer to splt the cost of the upgrade, well, that is a more reasonable choice and gives RCCL the opportunity to offer one for free.
All they can do it say no, but the sales staff are trained to say no.
