Default What Cruise Ship Job would you like to see me try?

Of late when we've gone on a cruise, I've "worked" in different deparments for a day, and wrote articles for CruiseMates about the experience.

I've worked as a butler on Celebrityhttp://cruisemates.com/articles/humop/butler.cfm ... as cruise staff on Carnival ...http://cruisemates.com/articles/feature/KukiLiberty.cfm and as Blackjack dealer on Princess (article coming soon). In April I'll be on the Radiance of the Seas, and since they're not likely to let me drive the ship, I thought I'd ask "you guys" what job you'd like to see me doing... and learn a bit more about, from "my perspective"?

I second the cruise director. You could host the belly flop contest.

I got extra points for the level of difficulty on the back flip that made up for my lack of belly and got the bronze medal!

Does ROS have an ice rink? You could always brush up on your triple axel and guest star in the ice show!

How about trying to be a bartender at the Schooner Bar and trying to keep people there when the entertainer can't seem to do it? Now that is a challenge.
I've met some great bartenders who can still keep me there despite the lame piano guy.
On the other hand if there is a great entertainer the challenge would be to keep up with the drink orders.

better yet how about you be the bartender at the pool bar, or be one of the people who run the sports activities like the rock wall

I second the bartender job..you choose the bar...should
be fun trying to make all the different types of drinks...If Dave
the Wave is there, it's easy..a Red Stripe.

Yes, another Red Stripe please. I am getting thirsty now and may have to pick some up for the Super Bowl party. I am closing on 3 months until my cruise so it is time to start getting ready.

"I have been drunk now for over three weeks, I passed and I rallied and I sprung a few leaks , got to stop wishing got to go fishing....down to rock bottom again....just a few friends, just a few friends.....

I go for younger women, lived with several awhile... though I ran away they'd come back one day and still could manage a smile...just takes a while....just take awhile.... mother, mother ocean after all these years I've found... occupational hazard being... my occupations just not around.... I feel like I've drowned, gonna head uptown....."

OK, get me a beer!!!!!!!!
