Default Drinks & Beverages

I have a May cruise to the Caribbean and confused with regards to the drinks and beverages. What drinks, beverages or juices are included? If they are not included, what is the average pricing or is worth getting the beverage package?

Coffee, tea, water (not bottled), ice tea, lemonade, fruit punch and juice is all included. Soda, bottled water, and alcoholic drinks are extra. If you drink a lot of soda its worth getting the soda card. If you don't, I would just buy it by the glass. I've found that most of the alcoholic drinks are about the same price as they are on land at a nice restaurant.

It's my understanding that the $6 per day cost applies to adults only. The cost per child is $4 per day (I do not know what age qualifies for the child discount). It's also my understanding based on some other comments made on this message board that some or all the ships have a similar card for alcoholic beverages. You purchase a card for twelve drinks at $45 ($3.75 per drink). Somebody who has been on more cruises can confirm these facts. Have fun. Taking next cruise in early April so I will find out for myself.

Default RE:

They had the Alcohol card when I last cruised about 2-3 years ago, but from what I've heard, they have gotten rid of them.

I would be a strong supporter of having them back though!! What a great deal!!!

Default free drinks

Can you get the free drinks: coffee, lemonade, etc, outside of meal times?
Will they let kids in the kids club have lemonade if they don't purchase the juice card? If not, can they bring a water bottle or backpack with juice boxes?[/code]

Coffee,tea,lemonade/punch are free all the time. Soda and juices are part of the package deal $6 per day 17+ $4 16 & under.
I don't drink soda so I don't buy one but the rest of my family does so they get them-it even gets the kids Shirley Temples.
It's probably more then it needs to be since soda is cheap(so they added juices a year or so ago,big deal)but if they're going to want soda/juice it'll save you alot!
