"tis the season" for flu/colds and or Norwalk type virus. Nothing new, happenes every year. Not just on cruise ships.Happens anywhere in a closed environment with close contact.

We're heading out on Mariner on Sunday, so I took notice of this report. A couple of years ago we were in Europe with a huge group, and EVERYONE - except for 2 women - came down with the stomach flu. I had it for 24 hours, DH had it for seven precious days of vacation.

The 2 women who did NOT get sick ate yogurt every single morning with their breakfast. After that I checked around, and a lot of people feel strongly that yogurt kills certain bacteria.

So you can bet I will be tracking down yogurt every morning! At this time of year there are bound to be lots of people with colds and flu, especially the kids. Better to be safe than sorry.

I wonder if the frozen yogurt works? I love that stuff, and now have a great excuse to eat lots of it!
Thanks,
Ken
