Has anyone been in connecting balcony (D1) cabins? We are considering booking 1370 and 1372, and were wondering if the additional space with the connecting door makes up for not getting an aft balcony, which we can get on another date but for $400 more.
We were on Mariner last year and had connecting rooms (D1). They would not open the balcony up between us and my dad & brother. We asked I dont know how many times before being told that we had to go through the hotel manager and someone else. I left messages for them and nothing ever happened. On every cruise weve been on, they have yet to open the doors for us. Goodluck!
