Grandeur of the Seas NOROVIRUS

when we left the ship on monday morning 3/6, we did not see anyone visibly ill nor did we hear any reports of anyone sick on the ship. i dont think there were any sick passengers on our ship. we all have colds this week, but nothing like norovirus. i just figured it was change in climate, time of year, etc.... Glad we didnt have to deal with that last week. I sure hate it for those on the Grandeur OTS this week, though. what a way to ruin a vacation.

I'm going to be sailing on Grandeur from 3/11/ until 3/16 so I'll make sure to post a complete review (including the norovirus unfortunately) when I get back as well as update posts from the ship for those who are interested. Have a good week cruisemates!

There was no reported outbreaks of any kind of norovirus during the cruise and in fact we noticed that the ship had anitbacterial cleansing dispensers located throughout the ship, especially in public eating areas. We also noticed less handling of the food by the passengers and more of it being done by the crew. It certainly seemed as if RCI had everything under control during this cruise.
