Default What to expect...

I am traveling on the Sovereign Of The Seas June 5- June 9 2006, and I just want to expect. I have read so many bad reviews, and I have read good ones. I just want HONEST opinions, because this is my honeymoon. I have been worrying about everything about the trip, and I just want some opinions that are not sugercoated.

Ports of Call are:
June 5 Port Canaveral
June 6 CocoCay, Bahamas
June 7 Nassau, Bahamas
June 8 At Sea
June 9 Port Canaveral

So please give me any info you have about any aspect of my cruise. Also, My Travel Agent told me that she would call me early May to come get my tickets, Is that later than normal?

I enjoyed my cruise on the Sovereign. I thought the service was excellent and enjoyed all the shows. I found the food to be so-so. We didn't go hungry, but there was room for improvement. Our rooms were clean but very small (we had inside cabins). I loved our stop at Coco Cay. Nassau was ok. All in all I thought it was a great vacation given what we paid for it. Would I sail Sovereign again? Definitely.

Early May sounds right for your tickets. They usually come 3-4 weeks before you sail.

Default RE:

You will have a great time! Sovereign is an older ship but it was recently renovated and from what I'm hearing, looks great! I am going in April and will write a review when I get back but my first cruise was on Sovereign before the renovation and I still had a blast. Everything went smoothly, from the check in process, right down to the last departure from the ship.

Plus, you'll be on your honeymoon so put all your worries aside and have fun!
