Default Which ports for wheelchair?

I'd like to take my Mother on a 4 or 5 day cruise. When we
travel, we now usually take a wheelchair because of her bad
back, she can't walk much of a distance at all.

Most of the shorter cruises I've seen, are to Western Caribbean
and that means tendering at G. Cayman...I think Cozumel, now, too.

Any thoughts on what might work? Or have you had a similar
situation?

Thanks.
Lou

you are correct, Grand Caymen is a tender port, and Cozumel is tendering because the pier was destroyed by last years hurricanne and is in the process of being rebuilt. The ships crew are very good about helping people in wheelchairs to get on and off the tenders. Its all about your mother's comfort level. If she can walk a few stairs she can get on and off the tenders.

Lou,

I'd like to take my Mother on a 4 or 5 day cruise.

Why only four or five nights? The fixed costs generally are great enough so you won't spend much more to go for seven nights.

Norm.

It was her choice for a shorter cruise, but I may be able
to talk her into a longer one and do Eastern Carrib.
